Brie began her Publishing Our Town Magazine in 1991. She was working for a magazine in Sarasota, Florida, doing sales. She was brought out to sell for the local newspaper. After a year, she felt the need to start a magazine that would support the Tri-State area which includes, Laughlin, NV, Bullhead City and Mohave Valley, AZ as well as Needles, CA. She made sure it was a positive magazine. 

7 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters and 2 great grandsons. Born in Holland, Missouri, and raised on a farm. She learned hard work from the time she was 6. She could pick 100 lbs of cotton a day, so she learned how important work was to her future.
