The inside of your car can have temperatures that exceed 165 degrees in the summer here in Bullhead City. If you were wearing a fur coat on top of it, the inside of that car would would be unbearable and deadly. That is how your pet would feel if left inside of a car on one of Bullhead's normal summer days. Because of the excessive heat here there are things you can do to help your pet survive. Dogs especially love to have a kiddie pool to cool down in. Water spray misters can be placed in areas where your pets like to lay. But above all it is most important to have large amounts of fresh water available at all times and shelter from the sun where your pet can be out of the direct sunlight. If you think of how you would want to spend your day outside waiting for your master to come home, your own common sense will direct you to provide the comfort that your cherished companion needs.
